 The Bourdain Backstory

I worked with Tony on his No Reservations San Francisco shoots. That’s me pictured, holding a wine glass as we eat calf brains from chef Chris Cosentino at Incanto restaurant.

Later, I also provided research and statistics for some of his speeches. Off camera, I treasure the many memories of eating and drinking and staying up really late talking with him and my husband Oscar Villalon. Tony was funny and smart. I wanted to lie down on the sidewalk when I learned he had committed suicide.
